Robert Offley (President & CEO)
With more than 18 years of management experience in the IT industry, Robert joined CentriLogic as President and CEO in 2006.
Prior to joining the CentriLogic team, Robert was President and CEO of Fusepoint Managed Services, where he expanded the company out of Vancouver to become a national provider of managed services. In the three years Robert was with Fusepoint, he grew the business to achieve sustained 170% year-over-year growth.
Before joining Fusepoint, Robert held managerial responsibility at PSINet, one of the first Internet service providers. Robert first joined the company as European Director before being appointed CEO of PSINet’s Canadian operations. Under Robert’s leadership, PSINet Canada became the leading provider of hosting services in Canada.
Robert holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronic Engineering from Birmingham City University.
Jim Latimer (Chief Strategy Officer)
Jim joined CentriLogic in 2008 as Vice President of Client Solutions. Recently, Jim has transitioned to the position of Chief Strategy Officer at CentriLogic. Responsible for service design, customer experience and marketing, Jim relies on his more than 18 years of management experience in the IT industry.
Prior to joining CentriLogic, Jim was an entrepreneur in the technology sector. In 2001, he founded Fort Nocs Networks and led the company to become one of Canada’s leading application managed services providers and Internet strategy consultants. In his first five years as Founder and CEO of Fort Nocs, Jim grew the business from a start-up company to an organization with more than 20 employees and 200 customers across North America. He was integral in developing a channel strategy that included leading telecommunications and web hosting companies. In his seven years with the company he built, Jim developed key accounts with many of the largest businesses in Canada.
Before founding Fort Nocs, Jim was a member of the founding management team of Cyberplex, a leading publishing and acquisition strategies company. Jim joined Cyberplex as Director of Operations before assuming the roles of General Manager and Director of Information Services. While with Cyberplex, Jim created the managed services division of the company and oversaw the product organization. Jim helped to grow the company from a single office and $1 million in annual revenue to a business with seven international offices and $30 million within three years.
Previous to Cyberplex (and to the web), Jim founded THinc, a technology development and consulting firm that assisted companies in development/construction and transportation/logistics to leverage technology systems and networks.
Jim attended the University of Guelph’s renowned Information Systems and Human Behaviour program.
Mike Bethune (Director of Technology & Security)
Coming from a security and systems architecture background, Mike joined CentriLogic as Director of Technology & Security in 2008. With more than 17 years of experience in the IT industry, Mike holds over 10 Technology Industry certifications, including ITIL, and the well-known and respected RHCE and CISSP.
Before joining CentriLogic, Mike was a Senior UNIX Engineer and lead at Bell Canada, where he built and managed UNIX, Linux and SAN technology infrastructure.
Prior to Bell Canada, Mike was the Senior Systems Architect of Payment Processing Inc., where he was responsible for overall infrastructure, security and application development.
Mike was the Senior UNIX Engineer and National Team Lead for Fusepoint Managed Services for five years before he left to join Payment Processing.
Mike also served in progressive roles at Telus, BCTel, the Real Estate Board of Greater Vancouver, and the Ministry of Transportation of Highways.
Mike has a B.A.Sc. in Engineering Physics from the University of British Columbia.
Donnette McKenzie (Director of Finance)
Donnette joined CentriLogic in 2009 with 20 years of experience in accounting and finance. As CentriLogic’s Director of Finance, Donnette is responsible for the overall management of the finance team, as well as for monthly and annual reporting, the company’s financial policies, and forecasting based on internal analysis and her many years of experience.
Before joining CentriLogic, Donnette was an Accounting Manager at RapidMind, where she managed accounts payable and receivable, annual budgets, regularly reported to investors and managers, and conducted financial analysis.
Prior to that, Donnette was responsible for finance, human resources, payroll and acted as a team lead for the Ontario College Application Service. She managed a team of finance personnel and was responding for monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting, managed internal control and procedures and developed financial policies.
Donnette has also held accounting and controller roles at Flight Centre, where she was responsible for eleven Toronto area shops, and QVC in Port Lucie, Florida. She is experienced in both American and Canadian accounting practices and laws.
Donnette holds a BBA in Finance from Florida Atlantic University and an AA Degree in Accounting from Indian River Community College.
Kevin Aplin (Director of Sales)
With over 20 years of IT sales experience, Kevin joined CentriLogic in 2008 and quickly became the Director of Sales. Kevin is responsible for the overall management and direction of the sales team based in both Canada and the US. In his role, he has been instrumental in increasing the success of the sales team and growing CentriLogic’s annual revenue.
Before he joined CentriLogic, Kevin worked for SQS (a leading Europe wide software quality assurance company) where Kevin lead large sales engagements across Europe – including a 5 year engagement with T-Mobile in both the UK and Germany.
Prior to SQS, Kevin worked for Gresham Computing leading the expansion of their new Java based software integration solution focussing on financial service companies and large corporations. During his time with Gresham, Kevin was selected to lead the creation of a North American sales team based in Boston. Kevin established significant new projects with Chase Manhattan and CitiBank before returning to the UK in 2001.
In 2007 Kevin decided to return to North America, moving his family to Canada where he formed Trafalgar Consulting provided sales services and support to a number of organizations.
