Menzies Aviation Selects CentriLogic to Host Mission-Critical Business Applications

Move to CentriLogic expected to significantly reduce IT costs for the aviation services giant; CentriLogic agrees to provide 50% more space and capacity in next five years to support Menzies Aviation’s growing IT requirements

BRACKNELL, UK, October 24, 2012CentriLogic, a leading international provider of data center solutions to global enterprises, today announced it has been selected by Menzies Aviation, the global provider of passenger, cargo and ramp handling services, as the primary data center services provider to host its “always on-demand” business applications.

Menzies Aviation, with operations in more than 136 stations in 32 countries and supported by a worldwide team of 18,000, needed to partner with a flexible and reliable data center services provider to fulfill its IT hosting requirements. After spending several months evaluating multiple data center services providers throughout Europe, Menzies Aviation selected CentriLogic and its new state-of-the-art data center in Bracknell, UK.

The move to the new facility has more than doubled the capacity of Menzies Aviation’s systems and has produced significant savings  on the IT spend. The aviation services giant has been a fast adopter of the latest technology offerings and the savings will enable them to continue investing in state-of-the-art infrastructure. CentriLogic has also entered into an agreement to reserve an additional 50% of space and capacity to cater to Menzies Aviation’s growth requirements throughout the next five years.
