On Friday October 16th, we celebrated the expansion of our Rochester Data Center facility with an Open House event. Joined by some of our customers, executives, and industry partners, our guests were given the opportunity to tour the new data center space and get a first-hand look at the new facility enhancements. They also had an opportunity to hear from Steve Baxter, Global Director of IT at CooperVision, whose unique data center requirements fueled the need to expand and enhance our existing data center space. Steve highlighted the relationship between CentriLogic and CooperVision, emphasizing how agile and adaptable CentriLogic was throughout the solution architecture and implementation phases.
The newly expanded data center space features advanced indirect evaporative cooling from Schneider Electric and new modular UPS technology, enabling us to achieve a PUE rating of 1.2. These new enhancements will result in significant power efficiencies, energy savings, and competitive pricing for our customers, and enables us to operate one of the most efficient data centers in New York State.
