Microsoft Ignite 2021: Cloud, Hybrid Environments, and Security Sessions to Attend
We at Centrilogic are excited about the upcoming Microsoft Ignite Fall 2021 conference. Once again, this conference will be held virtually and is taking place from November 2nd through the 4th. Registrations are still available and free — which makes the conference more accessible for all.
Microsoft Ignite is typically a once-a-year conference held in the fall in North America. In March 2021, a spring digital edition also took place. If you’d like to see what was covered in this March conference, Microsoft created a “Book of News” that provides an extensive review of the announcements and features specific sections on Azure, Business Applications, Industry Cloud, Microsoft 365, Security and Certifications. We look forward to the many new sessions Microsoft has planned for this November’s Ignite. Coupled with the traditional timing and all the product introductions and innovations Microsoft will undoubtedly announce, these are exciting times.
The Ignite session scheduler is now live and affords ample opportunity for anyone to create their own personalized experience. This year, Ignite boasts a ton of social content to share, a cloud skills challenge, a Connection Zone, product roundtables, and opportunities to interact with Microsoft experts.
Some sessions we recommend checking out include:
- Innovate Anywhere from Multicloud to the Edge
- Protect Everything with End-to-End Security
- Accelerate your Migration and Modernization Journey to Azure
- Build a hyperconnected business
- Empower data backed decision making with Power BI, Power Automate and Azure Synapse Analytics
- Get long-term benefit from health data with Microsoft Cloud for Healthcare
- Integration to Governance: The Path to Successful Data-driven Transformation
- Microsoft Cloud for Financial Services: Accelerating innovation for sustainable growth
- Journey to cloud based Modern Management
An important area in which Centrilogic focuses with our customers is security. Companies today face ever increasing and more sophisticated cyber threats, and the Ignite conference offers opportunities to learn the latest methods and innovations to protect their technology environments. This includes protecting everything from the endpoint to the cloud, across security, compliance, identity, device management, and privacy. Microsoft will also share lessons learned from the past year and key recommendations for security teams for the year ahead.
This year, we’ve noted Microsoft is putting increased emphasis on hybrid. Microsoft is clearly aware that most customers now live in a hybrid world. A number of Ignite sessions deal with helping customers overcome challenges with hybrid environments – from infrastructure orchestration using Azure automation in a hybrid context, to using Azure Arc as a bridge to help customers meet regulatory needs and run services like Azure SQL in a data center while still leveraging the benefits of the Azure cloud.
Of course, the Microsoft Ignite keynote will be led by company CEO Satya Nadella and is always a session to look forward to. Satya will speak about emerging technology trends and innovations across the Microsoft Cloud that will transform every business and industry going forward.
No matter your interest, the Ignite session builder is a great tool to guide you to sessions that may appeal to you. Discover the blockers to cloud adoption and learn more about how Microsoft can simplify the transition by registering for this event.
Also, check back in with us after the conference. In Centrilogic’s Resources section, we’ll be sharing our thoughts on the Ignite conference and recapping what we found to be some of the highlights of this year’s conference.
